CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT SERVICE

On Wednesday, our KS2 pupils delivered a truly beautiful Carols by Candlelight service. Their singing was heartfelt and their performances were full of energy and confidence, making us incredibly proud. Well done to all the children for their hard work and wonderful enthusiasm.

A big thank you to our parent carers for joining us and supporting the children. Your presence helped make the event feel extra special, and we are grateful for your continued encouragement.

It was a lovely way to celebrate the festive season together.

'KNOCK KNOCK NATIVITY'

We were absolutely delighted to welcome so many parent carers to this year’s Nativity performance, ‘Knock Knock The Nativity’. Our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children shone on stage – singing beautifully, acting with confidence and bringing the story to life with real joy and enthusiasm.

A huge thank you to all our parent carers for your ongoing support, for helping with costumes and practising lines at home, and for joining us to celebrate the children’s hard work. Your encouragement means so much to them and to us.

We are incredibly proud of all the children for their wonderful performances and the festive cheer they brought to our school community.

REMEMBRANCE DAY SERVICE

On Friday, our school community came together for our Remembrance Day Service to honour the brave men and women who have served our country. It was a very special time as we reflected, listened to hymns and prayers, and took a moment of silence to remember those who showed such great courage.

This links beautifully to our value of the month – Courage. Just as the soldiers showed courage in facing difficult and frightening times, we are learning how we can show courage in our own lives—by standing up for what is right, trying new things, and showing kindness even when it’s hard.

We would like to say a big thank you to all the parents and families who joined us for the service. Your support and presence made the occasion truly meaningful for our children.

Lest we forget.

BLESSING OF THE PRAYER GARDEN

We were delighted to welcome Father Taemin to school as he joined the School Council to bless our newly created Prayer Space and Prayer Garden. This special area has been designed as a place for quiet reflection, prayer, and peace — a space where pupils and staff can take time to pause, think, and connect with our school’s Christian vision.

During the blessing, the School Council helped to lead prayers and shared their hopes for how the garden will be used by everyone in our community. Father Taemin offered words of encouragement and a prayer of dedication, reminding us of the importance of stillness and spiritual growth.

HARVEST FESTIVAL 2025

This morning’s Harvest Festival was a wonderful celebration of generosity, and the spirit of giving — and it wouldn’t have been possible without our wonderful school community.

We’d like to thank all the parents and carers who donated so generously. From tins and dried goods to toiletries every single item contributed will make a real difference to individuals and families in need in our local area.

It was a joy to see the children taking part with such enthusiasm — singing, sharing, and learning about the importance of gratitude and helping others. These moments truly reflect the heart of our school and wider community.

Thank you once again for your continued support and compassion. Together,

we've made this Harvest not just a celebration — but a blessing to others.

WELCOME BACK SERVICE 2025

We were delighted to come together as a school community for our welcome back Church Service this week. It was a special opportunity to reflect, give thanks, and look ahead with hope and positivity for the new year ahead.

With joyful singing, thoughtful prayers, and uplifting messages, the service reminded us of the strength we find in unity, faith, and shared purpose.
